ABOUT ALUMINIUM WINDOWS

Aluminium is a good conductor of heat (ie a poor insulator). Aluminium windows need to incorporate a thermal break plastic insert which reduces the amount of heat transmitted to the outside of the building. This helps reduce the risk of condensation forming on the insides of aluminium windows in cold weather.
