ABOUT BATHROOM SHOWERS
Bathroom showers comprise three main elements: the bathroom shower enclosure, the shower base, and the shower head with controls.
Bathroom shower enclosures are usually made of glass, which may be plain, frosted, or patterned. They are available as one side, for fitting into a recess, as two sides for fitting into a corner, or as three sides for fitting to an open wall. Free standing shower enclosures are also available; these have four walls of glass. The shower base may be made of ceramic material, glass fibre, acrylic, or enamelled steel. In each case removable drain is included.
Shower heads and controls are available in many forms, including power showers. Some manufacturers now supply electronic controls, which can be positioned inside and outside the shower enclosure. Most shower controls are now thermostatic, giving a carefully controlled temperature.

LEADING UK BATHROOM SHOWER SUPPLIERS
Triton Bathroom Showers are a leading supplier of bathroom showers. The Triton range of bathroom showers falls into three categories: Mixer Bathroom Showers, Power Bathroom Showers and Electric Bathroom Showers. Mixer showers take water from both the hot and cold supply, and are best suited to houses with a good hot water supply. Power showers have an electric pump to increase the water pressure. They are suitable for cases where there is little difference in height between the water tank and the shower, and in cases where a high pressure shower is preferred. Electric showers are easy and cheap to install. They require only a cold water supply, but do not produce as high a volume of water as other types of shower.
Mira Bathroom Showers are another leading supplier of bathroom showers. Their Mira Magna range provides finger-sensitive controls which enable users to set their required temperature and flow rate with the touch of a button. Digital technology is used to ensure that, even if a tap is turned on elsewhere, the shower remains unaffected.
Aqualisa Bathroom Showers is another leading supplier of bathroom showers. Its showers are designed to maintain constant temperature and pressure, even when water is being drawn off the system elsewhere in the house. The shower heads are designed to minimise the build up of scale from hard water supply. The Aqualisa Quartz Digital shower is a sophisticated system, which includes an electronic indicator light showing when the shower has reached the required temperature.
