Grey concrete paving slabs are manufactured from Portland cement mixes, with pigments added to produce the standard buff, pink and red colours. Standard sizes for concrete paving include 900mm x 600mm, 750mm x 600mm, and 600m x 600m, all 50mm thick. A wide range of smaller and thinner concrete paving units is available for the home improvement market, including 600m x 600mm, 600mm x 450mm, 450mm x 450mm and 400m x 400mm. These concrete paving slabs are 40mm or 30mm thick. Thicker concrete paving units (65mm and 70mm) are manufactured to withstand light vehicular traffic.
