ABOUT PROFILED CLADDING SHEET

The majority of profiled cladding sheet is produced by shaping a pre-coated strip of steel or aluminium through a set of rollers, which gradually produce the desired section without damage to the applied coating. The continuous profiled cladding is then cut and packaged to customers' requirements.

Standard sections of metal profiled cladding have a regular trapezoidal profile, with the depth of the section dependent on the load and span. If there is a risk of buckling, stiffeners can be incorporated into the profile of the metal profiled cladding. Curved metal profiled cladding for eaves and soffits are made by brake-pressing from the same coated strip. Trapezoidal profiles may be crimped during this process. Profiled cladding sheets may be used for both roof and wall cladding.
