ABOUT RAISED ACCESS FLOORS & FLOORING

Raised access floors and flooring create an additional floor above the structural floor, providing space between them for cables going to office workstations. Raised access floors provide easy wire management for data, telephone, power, and lighting. Raised access floors can be deep demountable platform floors or shallow access floors, laid on battens, with a cavity less than 100mm high, and a grid of holes. Platform raised access floors are usually supported on adjustable steel jacks.
