ABOUT CHIMNEY LINERS
Chimney liners are normally made from flexible stainless steel ducting. They can be supplied with insulation which is poured from above into the space between the chimney liner and the original chimney.
Chimney liners, when inserted into an existing masonry chimney, bring two benefits. Firstly, they contain the heat and avoid damage, and even dangerous fires, through the heat from the fire damaging the masonry. Secondly, they will help the fire to draw better, by providing a smooth and continuous chimney flue.
