USA: Dryers: Dryer Manufacturers
ABOUT DRYERS
Dryers are home appliances used for drying clothes. They turn the clothes in a drum, which is heated by gas or electricity. Condenser models require no exhaust vent, but do require water to be regularly removed from the machine.
Dryers may be front or top loaded. The top loaded type tends to be slightly cheaper, and is easier to load and unload. However it cannot be placed under a countertop, nor can another appliance be placed upon it.
The better quality models of dryer have a stainless steel drum. Other optional features include touch electronic controls and moisture sensors. Dryers are available in a wide range of finishes and colors, including decorator colors such as metallic red, blue, and orange.
