ABOUT GATE OPENERS
Automatic gate openers can be provided as swing gates or sliding gates. Swing gates may be single or double swing, requiring either one or two electric ram openers. For a more discreet appearance, the gate openers can be set underground. The gate openers are usually provided with battery back up, so that the gate can be opened even in the event of a mains power failure. Sliding automatic gates require a special electric opener unit.
Gate openers can be operated by a push button, and or by a wireless remote control. Telephone and video can be provided for contact with visitors. Some gate opener systems offer a mobile phone connection, so that the gate can be opened and closed using a GSM mobile phone.
