Window Awnings
ABOUT WINDOW AWNINGS
Window Awnings are designed to provide solar shading in hot weather, reducing the glare and reducing the cost of air conditioning. They are normally formed of fabric, with an aluminum frame.
Two main designs are available: rectangular awnings, and quadrant European-style awnings. Both types may be retractable or fixed. The rectangular awnings retract by rolling up; the European-style awnings retract by folding.
Rectangular window awnings may be automated with an electric motor, enabling them to be extended and retracted at the push of a button. There are several materials used inlcuding Metal Awnings.
